This is an original oil painting on canvas entitled "Buddha Bliss" by Karmen, a contemporary artist from the United Kingdom.
Buddha Bliss by artist Karmen.
An original oil painting on canvas ready to hang.
I use the palette knife to paint my art, this technique is called impasto. It is rich in texture, I enjoy applying thick layers of oil paint to the canvas using a palette knife. The thick layers build on the canvas giving a textured feel to the touch and to view.
The oil colours are an array of rich vibrant colours from gold, red, deep cobalt blue, shades of blue, black, white and Ombre orange.
Using oils gives a vibrancy to the painting.
It features a textured impasto of a landscape subject, with an abstract Buddha painting, an inspirational work of art depicting the power of mindfulness, and the sense of love and peace when one stops the inner chatter and listens to the power of silence within oneself. Building on the positive energy to share with others and to connect to the call of natures beauty and tranquility.
This piece is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity (COA). It is an ultra-contemporary artwork produced in 2024 using the palette knife and laying the oil painting known as the impasto technique.
The painting is perfect for art enthusiasts who appreciate textured abstract art and impressionism.
