Qianlong Qing Dynasty (1736-1796)
Circa: c.1736 to 1796.
When Qianlong was on the throne China was flourishing, but as he left the throne it was beginning to decline. The long reign of the Qianlong emperor (who retired in 1796, three years before his death) may be considered the height of the Qing period.
